Education:
The Kenyan Kids Foundation began by financing financing high school education for seven students in 2010. Last year we sponsored about 50 students. This year we provided scholarships to over 100 students. Students must obtain a grade of B- or above each term in order to maintain the scholarship. Our goal as a foundation is to continue to support these students throughout their high school education. Our first seven students will be graduating at the end of this year.
In August of 2013, we opened a foundation office. This December, we added shelves and books to create a small community library. We hope to work with other nearby villages to create more reading rooms.

This January we also opened two nursery schools by paying for the salaries of nursery teachers. Some children as old as ten years old had not yet entered primary school because they could not afford to first attend nursery school. We hope to partner many more Kenyan churches with churches from abroad.

Healthcare:
We have partnered with the Hall Steps Foundation to raise funds to help finish a hospital in Wesley’s village which was not completed due to a lack of funds. For more information visit http://thestepsfoundation.org/26-2-challenge/. This past July we had our first mission team run a clinic at our hospital. The team consisted of 1 doctor, 8 medical students, nurses and members of EDGE outreach who installed clean drinking water at the hospital. We also have a container of medical supplies being shipped that should arrive in March. We would also like to have people begin donating towards expensive medical procedures such as surgery.

Farming:
This year we are also helping five poor families become more self-sufficient by providing them with the financial means to grow their own crops.
